Derma-remolding composition:
- Phosphatidylcholine: (also contained in the DERMA-LIPO Cocktail) is a liquid form of Lecithin, an enzyme naturally produced by our body and is a main component of all cell membranes and circulating lipoproteins. This functional substance facilitates the emulsification of fat into smaller particles allowing its absorption. Phosphatidylcholine is extremely effective but limited to the emulsion of fatty acids and is usually also used in professional treatments combined with other active substances such as deoxycholic acid.
- Deoxycholic acid: it is a compound of natural origin, normally present in the body. It is specifically a bile acid, produced by the bacterial metabolism of bile acids released from the liver into the intestine. This substance disturbs the balance of the phospholipid bilayer, causing the solubilization of biological membranes, resulting in the cellular destruction of adipocytes (the adipose cells filled with fat).
